Professor Redd:

I am at the Science Fiction Museum in Seattle, WA in the above photo. A wanderer by nature, the stability of working at Moorpark College has been one of my life's honors and passions. I am in my 28th year as a member of the counseling faculty.

I am a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (CPSLO). In addition to degrees in Communications and Counseling & Guidance for Higher Education, I took every career counseling class which included curriculum development. I completed my counseling internship and TA experience at CPSLO.

My other counseling experiences include being a graduate of the Foundation for Human Enrichment for Somatic Experiencing© for PTSD Therapy. I have worked in Training-Human Resources in the Aerospace Industry. Also, I have worked as learning skills, academic, and career counselor at CPSLO, California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), and Santa Ana College.

In addition, I have a STEM-M background developed before I started college and after I earned my counseling degree. While in high school, I completed a year-long engineering course at USC as a top student in the class and spent part of every summer studying cadavers at USC's Medical School. Post, M.A., I have taken classes and worked as a research assistant at UCLA's Brain Research Institute (BRI) and the Department of Gynecology.  I developed a background in basic science, brain science, and physiological psychology. I did small animal surgeries, dissections, and microscope work and I made small devices and implants. I even won an award in chemistry.
